KIG's infrastructure work depends on contributions from residents, businesses and other supporters. KIG's target is 1 000 people donating R100/month to sustain cash flow for interventions across Greater Knysna.

Our preferred way to give

Give monthly by stop order

A stop order is an instruction to your own bank to pay KIG the same amount every month. You set it up once, in your banking app or at your branch, and you can change or stop it at any time.

  • You never have to remember. Your support arrives every month, with no reminders and no missed months.
  • KIG can plan ahead. A steady income lets us fix failing pump stations quickly and order parts before they are needed.
  • No paperwork for your tax certificate. Register once and we send you one Section 18A certificate a year.
  • You stay in control. Unlike a debit order, a stop order is your own instruction to your bank. You can stop it yourself at any time, and KIG never holds your bank details.

Give monthly by stop order, in 4 steps. 1: Use KIG's bank details: Knysna Infrastructure Group NPC, Standard Bank, account 10254554529, branch code 051001. 2: Ask your bank for a monthly stop order, in your banking app or at your branch. 3: Use this reference every month: KIG, then your surname and initials, for example KIG SMITH JA. 4: Let KIG know, on the website or by email to kig@kisg.org.za.

Tax-deductible donations

KIG has income-tax exemption and Section 18A approval (effective 12 May 2026), so qualifying donations may be tax-deductible. Giving by stop order? Register it once and we send one certificate a year. For a once-off donation, apply for your Section 18A receipt.
